“It was all rumour” – Darey denies paying Kim Kardashian $500,000

Talented singer and music label executive, Dare Art-Alade, popularly known as Darey, has debunked rumours that made the rounds, which claimed that he paid American reality TV star, Kim Kardashian a whooping $500,000, to co-host his ‘Love Like A Movie’ concert last month.

The grapevine went into overdrive after Kardashian’s reported 45-minute appearance in Lagos, that the crooner had parted with the huge amount to bring her to Nigeria.

However, in an interview with Showtime, Darey stated that: “It was all rumour, but I enjoyed while it lasted.”

The multiple award-winning vocalist, also refused to comment further on the matter and did not reveal how much it cost him to bring her in.
