It’s official: Cavani signs for Paris Saint-Germain

Edinson Cavani has completed his move from Udinese to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 26-year-old has long been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City, but the Ligue 1 champions moved quickly to activate the Uruguay international’s release clause.

The Parisiens paid €64million for the striker and he underwent his medical on Monday for three hours.

Napoli have moved to secure his replacement in Leandro Damaio.
