“It’s funny and insulting” – Pete Edochie reacts to death rumours

Few days to the new year, reports went viral that 65-year-old Veteran actor, Pete Edochie was dead. The rumour said that the movie legend died after falling from a 50 ft building during a video shoot in Austria.

Even though a press statement was released to announce that the rumour was false, Pete Edochie has now publicly declared that he is “very much alive and healthy”

He said this in a short video interview by WAOH Naija held on Friday 4th January 2013.

Pete Edochie, referred to the incident as “funny, and insulting”, spoke on how the news caused a lot of worry and anxiety in his family. He also thanked God for keeping him alive.

He specifically said he was “insulted by a certain Hyacinth Peter, who broke the news on the social networking site, Facebook.”
