“It’s a clear case of assassination, they shot at the Bentley twice” – Dino

Earlier this evening, we brought you an exclusive report that Honourable Dino Melaye escaped an assassination attempt on his life. (Read that HERE)

DailyPost was able to speak with him briefly and he confirmed he was with the SSS at the moment, before handing us over to the Director of Planning and Strategy for Anti-Corruption Network, a movement he is at the forefront of and here is what he said:

“It’s just a miracle that he is alive. He called me about an hour ago and told me what happened.

“They were about four or five of them and they shot at his Bentley twice, but the bullets didn’t penetrate. It is a miracle, because they are not bullet-proof. They even tried to jack him down from the car.

When asked if they were possibly robbers, he replied: “It’s a clear case of assassination. No one would want to steal a Bentley. When you fight corruption, corruption tries to fight back.

“We just thank God for his life. God is greater than evil doers and we give him all the praise.”
