It is fake news – Wenger denies agreeing deal with PSG

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has denied that he has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain next season, describing the reports as “fake news”.

Wenger’s future at the Emirates is the subject of intense speculation, as the 67-year-old is under increasing pressure at the club.

Reports on Tuesday claimed the Frenchman has been offered the chance to return to his country, with PSG tabling a two-year contract.

However, BeIn Sports have now released a snippet of an interview with Wenger, where he debunked the speculations.

“A contract with PSG? I formally deny that. That is fake news. I formally deny that,” he said.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League, 19 points behind leaders Chelsea.
