Emmanuel Emenike has spoken of his delight, at returning to South Africa where he played for FC Cape twon and Mpumalanga Black Aces, with a bang.

Nigeria’s top scorer at the competition, who has been in unstoppable form from the first game, was named man of the match, as Super Eagles defeated Mali 4-1 to qualify for the finals.

“It’s a very good thing for me and I’m really happy about the performance. It’s all by the grace of God,” Emenike told the media after the match.

Emenike, who now plies his trade in Russia for Spartak Moscow, says he is looking forward to the finals on Sunday, when they will face the Stallions of Burkina Faso again.

“It doesn’t matter who we meet in the final, all we have to do is go out there and work very hard to get the cup,” he said.
