Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun West Senatorial District, Amobi Akintola, on Monday claimed that the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, did not eat any thing at his grandmother, Bilikisu Salimonu’s burial on April 22.
Testifying before a coroner ordered by the State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola to probe the cause of Adeleke’s death, Akintola said the late Senator attended the burial ceremony in company of about 30 political aides and allies.
Akintola claimed that those, who came with Adeleke ate but the deceased did not eat the food they were served.
According to Akintola, “Adeleke was served Remmy Martins, but he brought his own Remmy Martins from his vehicle which he drank together with his friends.”
Also testifying, the Chief Medical Director of Biket Hospital, Osogbo, Dr. Adebisi Adenle, told the coroner that the deceased lawmaker was brought to his hospital dead on April 23.
Adenle said Adeleke was brought to his hospital around 10:15am and he pronounced him dead.
