Watford striker, Isaac Success, has said he wants to make a big impression, when he finally makes his debut for the Super Eagles, in Thursday’s international friendly against Senegal.
The 21-year-old was invited by coach Gernot Rohr, for Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria last November, but pulled out due to injury. Success is one of the five players, including Tyronne Ebuehi, Noah Bazee, Chidozie Awaziem and Kayode Olanrewaju, who are ready to make their first appearance in the green and white.
“I’m just excited to be here,” Success told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“It’s my first time, and I’m looking forward to my debut in which I want to make greater mark and do something different for the team. It is also an opportunity for me to get into the team.
“There are so many talented players in the squad. I have played with Kelechi (Iheanacho), before so I know his level of passion and attitude for the game is just like mine, so we will be formidable.”
On his impression of Rohr, Success said: “He’s a calm coach who gives his instructions and expects you to do it.”
