Isaac ruled out for two weeks, doubtful for Algeria clash

Coach of Watford football club, Walter Mazzarri, has ruled out Nigerian forward, Isaac Success for two weeks, making him unavailable for Saturday’s league game against Hull City and a huge doubt for the Super Eagles 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria next month.

‎The coach disclosed that the 20-year-old will miss the Hull City clash as he is yet to fully recover from a muscular injury he sustained in the Hornets 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.

He said in a pre-match news conference, “Isaac Success being out for Hull game is the biggest disappointment since I realised it isn’t Christmas today.

‎”We’ll be able to be more precise after the international break,” Mazzarri confirming the forward will not be fit for the game against Algeria in Uyo come November 12.

‎Success and Victor Moses were not available earlier this month when Nigeria beat Zambia away in the match day-one of the qualifiers in Ndola due to injury.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s home clash against Hull, Mazzarri believes every side coming to Vicarage Road this season possesses the quality to cause teams problems.

He added, “In this new Premier League season, all the teams have become much stronger and got better compared to last year.

“We don’t tend to really look at the statistics because, for example, we managed to beat Middlesbrough at their ground but the next week they drew at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal.

“We need to be ready [against Hull] and we need to go to play in our best possible way, always respecting the opponent.”‎‎
