Ben Iroha has admitted that he would be interested in taking over the U-20 national.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), sacked Manu Garba after the Flying Eagles’ unimpressive outing at the just concluded FIFA U-20 World Cup finals in New Zealand.

Iroha, who is a former Flying Eagles, Golden Eaglets, U-23 Olympic team and Super Eagles assistant coach, has now made himself available for the vacant role.

“My assignment with the Olympic team ended few years ago, so I had to return to my base in the United States of America to stay with my family,” he said.

“I just came back home two weeks ago for a short visit and I am just hearing from you that NFF have relieved Manu Garba of his Flying Eagles managerial duties.

“As to whether I could be interested in handling the team, nobody can shy away from serving his fatherland in any capacity he’s needed and I must say if NFF decides to ask me to come over for the job, why not?” .
