INTERVIEW: God threatened to turn me to a cripple if I didn’t do his work – Prophet Soul

Music star, turned prophet, Emmanuel Ifechukwu Okose , famously known as Soul E has explained why he dumped secular music for God’s work.

According to him, God threatened to make him cripple if he fails to do his work.

In a brief chat with DailyPost, the Prophet also dismissed the predictions that Nigeria would split by 2015.

He also bared his mind on burning national issues, especially the forthcoming general elections. Excepts:

Q. You started out as a secular singer and now you are a prophet. Do you regret the time you wasted doing secular music?

No, the Bible says in all things give thanks. My life is like a story, but I thank God for using me to his glory.

Q: Your encounter with God; how did it happen?

I was in Singapore  at a train station and a white man walked up to me and spoke in Yourba, “do you want God to turn you to a cripple before you do this work? That was the turning point in my life.

Q: Do you have any plan of opening your own church soon?

Well, I  have not heard from God to do so yet, but I run a ministry called KINGDOM BUILDERS.

Q: There are several predictions that Nigeria would break up by 2015, as a prophet, do you see that happening?

God is with this nation, so that’s a lie from the pit of hell, but some big names will go before that time, mark my words.

Q: 2015 is around the corner, do you see Jonathan coming back as president?

Well, God has not told me anything about that but, all I  can say that  the man that will turn things around for Nigeria is coming soon. He will be young, but many will go down for him to come and take his place. There is hope for Nigeria. But hear this; the result of 2015 election will amaze many.

Q: Some people are of the opinion that you left music because it no longer pays you, how true is that?

I love what you said. It’s  their opinion not God’s opinion. I  work for God, not for people, so I  care less about people’s opinion.

Q: You gave a prophesy that you saw Aso rock on fire and it came to pass barely one week.

It’s not my prophecy, it was God that spoke and he brought it to pass. I am just a tool in his hands. A time is coming when nations of the world will stand attention when I  speak.

Q: You also warned Davido and Wizkid of looming disasters, did they contact you for prayers?

No, they don’t have to, they have people that pray for them.

Q: Do you regret your past mistakes?

God made me to face all I  faced for a purpose. Today, I travel around the world. Just my story brings thousands to Christ.

Q: Do you still sing?

Yes, I am a worshipper. I have an album called “Message” and we have sold over 600,000 copies.
