The Polish Football Association (PFA) has confirmed that English Premier League (EPL) referee, Michael Oliver will officiate the 2018 FIFA World Cup warm-up game between Nigeria and Poland.
The Polish FA spokesperson, Kwiatkowski told Complete Sports, “That’s correct; Michael Oliver is confirmed for the encounter. Polish FA decided to pick him ahead of others because of his track records in the English Premier League”.
The game will serve as a warm-up for both teams that will be competing in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Olivier, who is one of the best referees in Europe will be assisted by Englishmen Stephen Child and Stuart Burt, as assistant referees while Robert Madley will be the fourth official.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Friday, March 23 take on the Poland national team in a friendly game at the Stadion Miejski Wrocław.
