Chelsea beat Barcelona 4-2 on penalties in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday.
Both sides could not be separated in regulation time, as the match ended 2-2. Eden Hazard waltzed past three Barca defenders and Marc-Andre ter Stegen to put Chelsea up 1-0 in the first half. The European champions responded with two goals after the break through Luis Suarez and Sandro, to take the lead. But Gary Cahill headed home from close range over Jordi Masip, to bring Chelsea level with Barcelona.
Jose Mourinho’s men (Radamel Falcao, Loic Remy, Ramires and Victor Moses) all converted their spot-kicks, while Gerard Pique and Halilovic, to ensure victory for the Premier League champions.
