INEC releases final list of 14,583 House of Assembly candidates [See names]

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released the final list of House of Assembly candidates to contest in the 2019 general election.
The list released on Thursday, was signed by INEC Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony.
Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner for Information and Voter Education Committee, had on Wednesday announced the approved final list of candidates for the Governorship, State Assembly and FCT Area Council elections scheduled to hold on 2nd March 2019.
“There are 1,066 candidates for the Governorship elections, 14,583 for the State Assembly elections and 806 for the FCT Area Council elections broken down into 105 Chairmanship candidates and 701 Councillorship candidates”, he said.
