The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Darius Ishaku, as the winner of the 2019 governorship election.
Shehu Iya, the Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the final results at the Taraba governorship election collation centre in Jalingo, the state capital on Tuesday.
Iya, said that the PDP scored a total vote of 520, 433, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 362, 735 votes.
Ishaku of the PDP won in 12 LGAs while the APC candidate, Sani Danladi won in four LGAs.
