Presiding Pastor, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has sent a message to Nigerians in celebration of Independence Day.
Apostle Suleman, in celebration of Nigeria at 59, prayed that the country should be restored even as he urged the rights of Nigerians not to be trampled on for political greed.
DAILY POST reports that Buhari via a nationwide broadcast to mark Nigeria’s 59th independence anniversary in Abuja on Tuesday, said his administration’s attention was increasingly being focused on cyber-crimes and the abuse of technology through hate speech and other divisive material being propagated on social media.
The President enjoined all citizens to always exercise restraint, tolerance and mutual respect in airing their grievances and frustrations.
Apostle Suleman on his Twitter page said: “On this 59th independence of Nigeria, may we get back our place in the community of nations.
“May our rights be no more trampled on the altar of political greed.
“May God amongst us a new breed without greed. may the best of our past become the least of our future, God bless Nigeria.”
