The Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the appointment of Mr. Anyaso Anyaso as the new Director-General of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State (BCA),
Barrister Chris Ezem, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), in a terse statement on Saturday, said the appointment followed the redeployment of Sir Uchenna Dike to the office of the Head of Service for further deployment.
Anyaso until his appointment worked in the Radio Services Department of the BCA and was recently elected Chairman of the Abia State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
The statement also quoted him as stating that the appointment takes immediate effect.
