Kadiri Ikhana is no longer the coach of Nigeira Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba.
Officials of the Aba club, have confirmed that the veteran manager’s contract will not be extended, inspite of the fact that he led Enyimba to a record seventh league title just last month.
“Kadiri Ikhana’s contract as Technical Adviser of @EnyimbaFC will not be extended. A new manager will be appointed in the coming days to replace Kadiri Ikhana and guide the team next season,” the club’s spokesman, Farriel Alaputa tweeted.
According to reports, Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf, is in talks to make a return to the Peoples Elephant.
Enyimba play Ugandan champions, Viper FC, in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League next February.
