Kelechi Iheanacho continued his fine pre-season form for Manchester City, as he scored again in their 4-2 loss to Stuttgart in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The Nigerian youngster came on at half time to replace Wilfried Bony and netted City’s goal in the 84th minute of the match. Edin Dzeko, who is rumoured to have agreed a move to Roma, struck the second goal for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.
By this time, it was too little and too late, as the Bundesliga side already put four goals past Joe Hart in the first 45 minutes of the game.
Filip Kostic, Daniel Didavi and a brace from Daniel Ginczek gave Stuttgart a commanding lead at the Mercedes Benz Arena.
