Iheanacho reportedly demands £200,000-per-week Manchester City deal

Kelechi Iheanacho is asking Manchester City to offer him a new bumper contract, which will see him earn an astonishing £200,000 per week over five years.

According to AfricanFootball, the Nigerian starlet’s agents are pushing for him to become one of the highest-earning players at the Etihad.

“He has deserved his keep at City as he is now one of the most effective forwards in the whole of Europe when you put his game time against the number of his goals,” the source said.

Iheanacho has enjoyed a breakout season with Manuel Pellegrini’s team, scoring 13 goals in all competitions, with seven of them coming in the Premier League.

He is believed to be earning between £10,000 and £18,000 a week, but his representatives are in talks over a new deal for the 19-year-old.
