Ighalo named EPL Player of the Month for December

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for December.

The 26-year-old scored five times, including a double as Watford defeated Liverpool 3-0 at Vicarage Road.

His manager, Quique Sanchez Flores, was named Manager of the Month, after the Hornets picked up 10 points from five matches over the festive period.

Watford are currently 10th on the table with 29 points from 21 games.

Their next league match is against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Monday.
