West Ham are preparing an offer to lure Odion Ighalo from Watford this summer.
The Super Eagles striker has enjoyed a fine season with the Hornets, scoring 14 goals in 31 appearances.
According to a report in the UK Sun, the Hammers have been watching the 26-year-old and are now very keen on adding him to their attack ahead of next season.
Ighalo, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal, is valued at £15million.
West Ham already have five Africans in their squad: Cheikhou Kouyate, Victor Moses, Alex Song, Diafra Sakho and Emmanuel Emenike.
