A statement by the Anambra State Police Command stated that Obiano redeemed his pledge of N5million as reward to Police operatives and informants who aided the arrest of the suspected killers of Igboka.

The command stated further that the Governor equally paid cash sum of N1million to informants who provided information for the arrest of one Ikechukwu Udensi alias IKANDA, a notorious murder suspect, who was declared wanted last year.
