Nasarawa United striker Esosa Igbinoba, scored a brace as his team defeated Sunshine Stars 3-2 in Akure, to move to the top of the goal scorers’ chart of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Igbinoba is now joint top scored with Sunshine’s Tunde Adeniji. Both players have scored 13 times this season.
Adeniji failed to add to his tally in the same game, after missing a penalty kick.
Heartland’s Bright Ejike, is closely trailing them with 12 goals, while Warri Wolves star Gbolahan Salami, Lobi Stars striker Tony Okpotu and Chisom Chikatara of Abia Warriors have scored 10 goals each. .
