IfeanyiUbah FC can win NPFL Super 4 title – Ezenwa

FC IfeanyiUbah goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has said his team can emerge champions at the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 4 competition.

The Anambra club will kick-start their title chase against Wikki Tourists on December 7, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Ezenwa says a good outing in the tournament, will brace them up for the upcoming domestic and continental assignments.

“I strongly believe we are quite ready for the NPFL/LMC Super 4 competition in Enugu,” he told SuperSports.

“The competition is certain to serve as morale boost heading into soon to start domestic league as well as continental assignment.

“Of course, winning is the language we understand quite well and that’s the overriding interest for us in the NPFL Super 4.

“Although, others may want to consider us outsiders to the NPFL Super 4 top prize because of our relative newness in the terrain we liked it that way going into the contest as underdogs.

“I know the number of years in existence will count for nothing when competition starts rather ambition and strength will play a decisive role in who gets what.

“Definitely, the quest to win will come into play when we take to the pitch against Wikki Tourists.

“I’m sure we will emerge winners then we take the dream further in subsequent matches.

“We are in the NPFL Super 4 to make a bold statement – win and not to add to the numbers.”

The other NPFL clubs involved in the Super 4 are champions Enugu Rangers and Rivers United.
