Idomaland is too big to be suppressed by one man – Onjeh

The All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate in Benue South in the last general election, Comrade Dan Onjah has called on Idoma people to brace up for a new change in no distant time.

Onjeh said very soon, the Idoma community would be set free from its almost twenty years of ”bondage and retrogression.”

He stated this on Saturday in Lagos at the just concluded Idoma Day held in UNILAG.

The former student unionist said he believes strongly that by October when the Election Tribunal sitting in Makurdi would give its verdict on the case between him and the former Senate President, David Mark, power must surely change hand.

His words, “I stand here to tell you today that power is about to change hand. Our land is too big to be suppressed by one man. Get ready for a new change in our land. I strongly believe that by October when the tribunal would pass it judgment; Idomaland would be set free from two decades of suppression.

“For every student here present, I want to assure you that I was one of you and will always remain here for you,” he assured.
