Brown Ideye’s brief stint in England is set to come to an end, with West Brom ready to offload their record signing for €5m (£3.8m).
According to reports in the UK, a fee has been agreed with Al Gharafa of Qatar, for the Nigerian striker who cost the Baggies £10m just last summer.
Ideye has failed to make his mark in the Premier League and has only scored twice in all competitions for West Brom.
The club’s chairman Jeremy Peace is understood to have sanctioned the deal, but negotiations over method of payment is holding up the transfer.
