“Ibrahimovic will leave, Cavani is going to PSG to replace him” – De Laurentiis

According to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave Paris Saint-Germain, after refusing to play alongside Edinson Cavani.

A deal to buy Cavani from Napoli is in its final stages and De Laurentiis admitted that Ibrahimovic is not willing to share the top striker’s role with another marquee signing.

“Ibrahimovic will not play with Cavani, he has been promised a transfer,” he told Tutto Napoli.

He then ruled out the possibility of signing the Swede or Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund.

“Lewandowski will not come, he will go to Bayern or Monaco.”

The Partenopei chief then too a parting shot at Cavani, stating that he left Naples because of the money on offer in Paris.

“Cavani is attached only to the money,” he said.
