Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to become Jose Mourinho’s first signing at Manchester United.
The Swedish striker, who leaves Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent, has agreed a deal to move to Old Trafford this summer.
Ibrahimovic is reportedly expected to sign a one-year deal, with an option for a further year.
Mourinho, who will be unveiled as Louis van Gaal’s replacement in the coming days, is keen to begin work immediately and has been speaking to transfer targets.
The Portuguese has identified Ibrahimovic as a player, who can come in and deliver, as he seeks to return the glory days to United. And the two men know each other, after working together for a year at Inter Milan.
