Ibrahimovic reveals most important signing Mourinho made this summer

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that Nemanja Matic, is the most important player manager Jose Mourinho signed for Manchester United this summer.

Ibrahimovic, who has signed a new one-year contract at Old Trafford, also hailed the purchase of Romelu Lukaku from Everton.

Matic made the switch from Chelsea, after United paid £40million and has made an impressive start to life in Manchester.

“I think the signing of Matic [is crucial]. He brings a stability to the team that it didn’t have last year.

“And I think Lukaku was a quality signing, like physical signing of force, but the important one is Matic. He brings stability to the whole team and that is what the team needs, and to have a player who is consistent at the top level,” Ibrahimovic told ESPN FC.
