Ibori, Uduaghan,Ogboru reunite at Ayomike’s burial in Warri

Former Delta State Governors, Chief James Onanefe Ibori and Dr. Emmaunel Ewetan Uduaghan as well as Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, who were great political rivals have dropped their political differences and reunited at the burial ceremony of late Itsekiri leader, Pa. Johnson Oritsegbubemi Sunday Ayomike which held November 3 at the First Baptist Church, Warri, Delta State.

The trio exchanged pleasantries, shook hands and sat almost close to each other as they condoled with the family of Pa. Ayomike.

It is not clear if the re-union between Ibori, Uduaghan and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru who sat in front of the immediate past Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Monday Ovwigho Igbuya is part of plans for him to dump the All Progressives Congress, APC for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The Acting Governor of Delta State, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro also condoled with the deceased’s family and enjoined them to emulate all that their father stood for.

Otuaro described the late Pa. J.O.S as a ” community leader and leader of thought who contributed to the development of the Itsekiri Nation, Delta State and Nigeria.

Present at the event were the former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, NFF President, Mr. Pinnick Amaju, the Oloygbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Ayiri Emami ,representative of the Olu of Warri Kingdom, HRM. Ogiame Ikenwoli, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, Sen. James Manager and Dr. Alex Ideh among others.
