Ibarapa East bye-election: INEC presents certificate of return to PDP lawmaker, Adebo Ogundoyin

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Thursday presented certificate of return to the winner of the just concluded Ibarapa East, State House of Assembly bye-election in Oyo State, Mr. Adebo Ogundoyin.
Ogundoyin had last Saturday emerged as the winner of the election conducted to fill the vacant seat occupied by Hon. Michael Adeyemo, the then Speaker of the State House of Assembly who died on Friday, 27th April.
He defeated the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate, Mr. Olukunke Adeyemo and five other contestants in an election conducted in 140 polling units.
The presentation was conducted by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), in the state, Barrister Mutiu Agboke.
In attendance were former Governor in the state, Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja and PDP Chairman in the state, Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha.
