I will soon manage another club – Zidane speaks amid Man Utd links

Zinedine Zidane has said he will soon be back in management.

The Frenchman walked away from Real Madrid in the summer, after leading Los Blancos to three successive Champions League triumphs.

Zidane is being heavily tipped as the man to replace Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

The Sunday Mirror reported that although Old Trafford executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward insisting that the club are still backing under-fire Mourinho, Zidane has been placed on standby if there is a change of heart.

And he confirmed on Sunday that he is already eyeing a return to management.

Speaking to TVE, when asked about a return to the touchline, Zidane said: “Yes, surely. Soon I will return to training because it is what I like and is what I have done all my life.”
