I will remain eternally grateful to Abacha – Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has stated that he would eternally remain grateful to former dictator General Sani Abacha.

The governor specifically thanked the late Head of State for creating Ekiti State.

Expressing his gratitude via his twitter handle, a thankful Fayose wrote, “Many states are there which Abacha could have created, but he chose to create Ekiti state due to the love he had for us”.

“Abacha could have created another state, but he chose to create Ekiti State. I will continue to be grateful to him.

“Everything that I do on this seat, if it is the will of God, it will stand the test of time. Despite the current financial challenges, I will make a difference,” he tweeted.
