The leader of the Movement for Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has laughed off his alleged expulsion from the group.
Uwazuruike, Friday insisted that he remained the leader of the pro-Biafra movement.
He said the duo of Uchenna Madu and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who announced his expulsion earlier in the week had long been axed from the movement for gross misconduct.
Speaking through the National Director of Information, Chris Moucha, the MASSOB leader also distanced MASSOB from the ongoing violent demonstrations by the supporters of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), across South- East and South South states.
Uwazuruike said that the former directors, Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra, London, and Uchenna Madu, were expelled since September 30, 2009, and August 30, 2014, respectively for their violent related behaviours, and added that they cannot speak on behalf of the organisation in any capacity.
“There is no faction in MASSOB I have remained silent on the matter because silence is the best answer to a fool”, he added.
