Former military president, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, IBB says he is getting use to rumours of his death, wondering why people would constantly peddle rumours of his death at the slightest news of attending to his health.
Towards the end of last week, there were stories everywhere that IBB had passed on in Germany where he went to seek medical treatment.
But speaking at his hilltop mansion after returning from that country, the retired army general recalled that it was not the first time that the rumour of his death would be out in the public.
He, however, stressed that there was no need spreading rumour about death since everybody will get ill or die. “As a Muslim, it is written that every human being shall die and get sick,” he said.
The ex-ruler disclosed that it was just a structural medical problem that was being addressed by medical experts, hence the periodic medical checkups.
