Lawmaker representing Surulere 1 constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Desmond Eliot, has told the people of his constituency that he is not Power Holding Company to fix and provide electricity for them.
He said this while replying to some of the constituents demanding the fulfillment of his campaign promises by helping with the electricity situation in the area.
Desmond used his twitter handle, @deselliot to remind the people that he is a career person in politics.
He wrote, “ I said I will do my best. Am not PHCN…and I have been working hard at it. Patience and see.
“I will work on it is what I said and that’s what I’m doing. I am a career person in politics
“We as a people are very impatience and that could be understood.
“I will never promise what I cant deliver, doing a palliative measure is very easy but I’m working on a permanent measure
“And giving the very best to the people of Surulere is my goal.”
