Barcelona Captain, Andres Iniesta is a step closer to leaving Camp Nou on a free transfer after he rejected claims he is close to extending his contract with the Catalans.
Iniesta has rejected claims from President Josep Maria Bartomeu that a deal is close, insisting: “It’s not true that we’re close to an agreement on a renewal.”
The Italian giants, Juventus “plans” to bring in the Barca great to Turin on a free transfer in 2018 when his contract expires, Tuttosport reports.
