Singer ‘9ice’ has confirmed  that he is indeed quitting music for politics.

The father of three, whose 2008 single ‘Gongo Aso’ and album ushered him into the league of A-list artistes, confirmed this in a recent interview with HipTV.

The confirmation is coming in days after he revealed on his Instagram that he will be vying for the ‘Honourable’ seat of the Ogbomoso North Constituency in the 2015 general elections.

“I’m leaving music, I need to go into something more challenging. I have achieved all there is to be achieved in music and ready to move on.

Music is no longer competitive for me, I’ve done all that needs to be done in music” he said.
