Arsene Wenger has challenged Manchester United, to play with the same desire and determination, which saw them come from behind to grab a 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates.

Theo Walcott tucked the ball behind David de Gea in the second minute, before Robin van Persie equalised from the spot moments before half-time.

Wenger was happy that the result keeps their good run going and suggested that United carry on playing like that, especially as they face Chelsea next week.

“This result keeps our unbeaten run going. We can take positives into last three games as a result of the spirit we showed today. I hope United play like that until end of season, they have responsibility – let’s see.”

Reflecting on the draw, the Frenchman said: “We did well – played with great pace, commitment and dynamism in the first half.

“We conceded just before half-time which was difficult to accept. We were caught a couple of times in the second half and were a bit lucky, but we also could have scored.
