Nigeria’s first gay pastor, founder of secret gay church, House of Rainbow, Rowland Jide Macaulay said he hopes that Nigeria will one day apologise to gay activist Bisi Alimi and others that have been discriminated against.

Jide Macaulay said this on his facebook page while congratulating gay activist, Bisi Alimi on his marriage.

He wrote: “Bisi Alimi, It is my hope that Nigeria will apologise to you and the millions of LGBTI people they have discriminated against.

“You are a trail blazer and I am proud of you.

“Congrats to you and your husband, Anthony Davis .With lots of love Jide Macaulay.”

This is coming two days after LGBT rights activist, Bisi Alimi, tied nuptial knots with his British lover, Anthony in England.

The Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act was passed in 2014 against homosexual clubs, associations and organizations, with penalties of up to 14 years in jail.
