I have been reunited with my daughter – Ese’s mother thanks media, Nigerians

Mother of 14-year-old Ese Oruru earlier abducted from Bayelsa and forced into marriage in Kano revealed that her joy knows no bounds as she reunited with her daughter.

Mrs. Oruru who arrived at the Force Headquarters where she was expected to meet with the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase on Wednesday, expressed gratitude to the media and Nigerians for assisting in the rescue of her daughter.

In a brief chat with journalists afterwards, the food vendor confirmed that she has been reunited with her daughter.

“We would be leaving for Yenagoa, Bayelsa today,” she noted, cheerfully.

It was gathered that the dark-skinned mother was reunited with her daughter last night at a hotel where they lodged.
