Head coach of Nigerias U-23 team, Samson Siasia, has said his focus for now, is to resume camping ahead of the Olympic Games in August.
Siasia has already submitted his programme to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and is waiting for it to be approved.
The interim Super Eagles handler, also stated that he cannot speak about over-aged players yet, as he is not even sure who will make up his real team.
“I cannot say this is the over-aged player I have picked for now; we need to start preparations with the real players,” he said.
“We are looking at players that are going to be in form and would be ready to play for us at that period, do not forget that the European season will be on during the Olympics Games period.
“We have a lot of players from the Super Eagles, who are also within the U-23 age category; the likes of Ogenyi Onazi, Alex Iwobi, Simon Moses and many others. But you must get the words of their clubs and sporting directors for them to agree to release them.”
