Former Super Eagles coach, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde, has said he is ‘confused’ about Shuaibu Amodu’s death.
Amodu passed away on Saturday morning and the news was confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), where the 58-year-old worked as a Technical Director till he died.
Speaking with Completesportsnigeria.com, former FIFA and CAF instructor, Onigbinde, said: “Right now I’m confused, I don’t know what to say.”
Amodu helped qualify Nigeria for the 2002 and 2010 World Cups, but did not take them to any of the two editions.
Onigbinde led the Eagles to the 2002 tournament in Korea/Japan.
