Seyi Olofijana has been released by newly promoted English football club, Hull City.
The midfielder’s four-year deal ends in June, but the club has chosen not to offer the Nigerian and 11 other players a new contract.
However, the former Super Eagles player joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season, after his loan deal with Cardiff City fell through.
Olofijana joined the Tigers from Stoke City in 2009.
