Manchester United striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has said he was not impressed by Eldin Jakupovic’s display in goal for Hull City in their 0-0 draw at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Jakupovic was crucial for the visitors, as he produced a string of fine saves to deny a rampant United side.
His stop to deny Juan Mata from few yards out with 16 minutes left, particularly earned him rave reviews. But Ibrahimovic feels it was a bad finish.
“I did not see any chances where it was difficult for the goalkeeper,” the Swedish striker told BBC Sport .
“It was not a good save from Juan Mata, it was a bad finish. Some saves he made for the cameras.”
Hull City manager, Marco Silva, admitted that Jakupovic saved them from defeat, but was quick to praise the entire team.
“Our goalkeeper had a good night, but I prefer to talk about all the team,” he said.
“We had a bad afternoon against Fulham but they played very well for me and showed a good attitude. I am sure with training we will improve.
“We had very good chances in transition. OK, Man United had chances to score too but we deserved this point.”
