Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is standing by David de Gea and intends to start him in Manchester United’s clash with Huddersfield.
There have been calls for the Norwegian to drop De Gea following a string of uncharacteristic errors in recent matches.
However, Solskjaer is set to call on the Spanish goalkeeper for this weekend’s Premier League clash at Huddersfield.
“I would think so, yeah, or he will play.
“Sergio was injured yesterday so didn’t train, tweaked his knee, so David’s been training well this week,” he told a press conference on Friday.
United are currently sixth, with very slim hopes of making the top four this season.
