President Muhammadu Buhari has addressed Nigerians for the first time since he arrived back in the country following a medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
Buhari has been away for 49 days and during that period, Nigerians also saw pictures of the several political heavyweights that visited him on social media platforms.
The President failed to address the citizens throughout his stay in London, leading to many speculations and rumours.
However, on Friday, Buhari finally spoke to Nigerians.
He said in the short clip which was posted on his official Twitter page thus: “My message to you: I’m glad to be back home, & grateful for your prayers. The best way to repay you is to rededicate myself to serving you.”
