How Oliseh influenced NFF about Enyeama’s return

It has emerged that new Super Eagles manager, Sunday Oliseh, specifically told the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), how he wants to build his team around captain Vincent Enyeama.

Enyeama was to be punished by the federation, for his remarks over the choice of Kaduna, as venue for the Eagles’ game against Chad last month. However, the NFF has since had a change of mind and forgiven the Lille goalkeeper.

“From the way Oliseh spoke about Enyeama in our meetings, it tells you that the coach wants him to play a huge role in his team building for the Eagles” a top source told AfricanFootball.

“He said the experience of Enyeama is needed by the team but he also highlighted on the need to install discipline in the team.

“We may not be seeing too many new faces in the Eagles from the start, but I think what Oliseh wants to do is change the mentality of the team because he believes the Eagles can win every match.”

Oliseh is expected to unveil the list of players invited for the match against Tanzania, in the second week of August.

Mikel Obi and Victor Moses are expected to be part of the squad, while Ogenyi Onazi will miss the game through suspension.
