Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial zone in the upper legislature chamber has reacted to the recent arrest of Kaduna State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains.
DAILY POST recalls that former Kaduna PDP chairman, Alhaji Makama Rigachikun was on Monday evening arrested by the security operatives.
Also, DSS on Sunday arrested the Kaduna PDP Director, Media and Publicity, Mr. Ben Bako, and was taken to Abuja over alleged hate speech.
Reacting, Sani took to his Facebook page, describing the arrest as “a serious threat and dangerous trend to credibility of 2019 election” .
Sani wrote: “The reported arrest and detention of some key opposition politicians in Kaduna is a dangerous trend and a serious threat to the credibility of the upcoming general elections.
“I call on the Authorities responsible to thread with caution.”The World is watching us”.
